    Reading Families’ Forum (RFF) was created by parents and carers who have children and young adults with disabilities and continues as an independent and voluntary group of parents, carers and organisations supporting families who have children and young adults with disabilities and is part of a wider network of parent forums in England.

    They aim to be a voice to help inform, shape and develop current and new services working alongside Reading Borough Council, the Primary Care Trust, and voluntary and community groups, to bring positive changes for children and young adults with disabilities.

    The APPG is planning to coordinate public petitions to Parliament calling on the House of Commons to urge the government to take action to ensure maintained nursery schools are financially sustainable for the future.  We have prepared a petition for you to use to get signatures. There are some rules about these petitions which are below.
    In the run up to Christmas and at Christmas events you may be organising, we’d encourage you to sign up parents, other carers and family members, staff, governors and any other local community contacts.
    The suggested deadline for completing the petition is 11th January 2019.
    The petition must follow certain uniform standards. Public petitions should be on a plain sheet of paper.
    • They should also be in the English language or if not in English, should be accompanied by a translation certified by a Member.
    • There should be no erasures, deletions or interlineations
